Reyne June C. Bawisan is a Licensed Environmental Planner in the Philippines with almost 15 years of planning experience both as planner in a local government unit and as freelance consultant for land use planning, zoning, and master development planning.
Currently, he is the head of Urban Planning Division (UPD) and Geographic Information System (GIS) Division under the Urban Development Department (UDD) of the City Government of Makati. As head of Planning Division his main task is to spearhead the formulation/review of plans and programs of Makati City such as but lot limited to Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP), Zoning Ordinance, Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) Local Investment Program, and Annual Investment Program (AIP). As head of GIS Division, he is in-charge of the City’s Geospatial Development and Maintenance Program and Production of Geospatial-related information.
While serving as a full-time government employee, he is also teaching at the University of Makati as Part time Professor handling subjects such as Urban and Metropolitan Development, Urban Design, Policy Analysis, and other Political Sciences subjects.
Mr. Bawisan finished his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science (Cum Laude) at the University of Makati and his Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning in the University of the Philippines. Currently is working on his PhD degree in Urban and Regional Panning in the same university specializing mixed-use development.
