Le Dai Ngoc worked on Study on design and integration of terrain surveying system in construction based on photogrammetry, lidar, GPS / GNSS and UAV technology, Research on the combination of optical and radar satellite images to establish military thematic maps to support terrain assessment in the Vietnamese territory and adjacent areas for defense purposes (VT/UD-05/16-20), Research on embankment and erosion protection solutions in the Spratly Islands (ĐTĐLCN.19/15 project), VNREDSat-1 satellite image application to build geodatabase and military geographic information to improve the effectiveness of advising and ensuring the topography data outside the territory (VT/UD-05/14-15 project), Applying UAV-UX5 of Trimble in the establishment of high-precision 3D map, Build the GIS of irrigation system for supporting CPO and other project management units (PMUs) to implement the M&E and O&M activities of NCSMRIP (ADB Loan 2828-VIE, ADB6 project), Applying the Remote sensing (VNREDSat-1 and equivalent) and GIS to monitor change in the territory of Vietnam and neighboring areas.
